Paige Spiranac Reveals How To Add 40 Yards To Your Driver

Popular golf influencer Paige Spiranac shared a new YouTube video on Thursday in which she shows how simple it can be to add over 40 yards to your driver.

In the video, Paige Spiranac joins a typical golfer named Greg who is looking to get a custom-fitted driver.

He says he needs help with his driver is because it is the the wort and “most sporadic” club in his bag.

“When it’s a good day with a driver it’s usually a good round,” he admits. “When it’s not, it’s a lot of other things.”

“I can definitely relate to that,” Paige replies, echoing the sentiments of many golfers out there.

After watching Greg hit a few drives with his current driver and seeing his numbers, Paige Spiranac and Club Champion guy Patrick believe he is getting too much spin on the ball and that he is leaving some distance on the tee.

“He’s missing out on at least 10 or 15 yards due to the spin,” Patrick said.

So what does Patrick suggest?

“Primarily I’m going to be looking at the shaft, measuring his driver out for length and swing weight,” he said. “See what he’s comfortable with and then just start really pulling different profiles off the wall, see what’s going to react in terms of ball speed.”

Patrick’s first effort with a Taylor Made Qi10 with a LS Ventus Black 6X shaft and a 9 degree loft proceeded to do the opposite of what he was going for as Greg’s spin rate skyrocketed up even further.

He then switched the shaft to a Graphite Design IZ6 with slightly better results.

Patrick’s third effort was to try a Graphite Design XE6 shaft. That one resulted in Greg popping off a 294 yard drive.

Next up, they switched Greg’s driver club head to a тιтleist TSR3. Using that club head, Greg lost some distance, but gained more accuracy.

Keeping the same shaft again, Patrick moved over to the Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond driver head.

“This is the driver head that I normally pull off the wall if I’m tired of seeing spin,” Patrick said after Greg continued to put too much spin on the ball.

They then switched back to the тιтleist club head and again, he seemed to hit the ball more consistently.

“We got to talk about the average total yardage,” Paige Spiranac said about the move. “You were at an average of 278 for your new driver and the average total distance of your gamer was 231. Not great at math, but I do know that that is a lot of distance added.”

Of course, no Paige Spiranac article would be complete without one of her patented “golf girl” videos.

Here’s her most recent effort on TikTok, which she тιтled, “After sending the omw text.”
