Popular social media influencer Paige Spiranac is set to play a match against a multiple major champion in early June.
Spiranac, 30, is one of the most popular social media stars in the golf space with 3.7m followers on Instagram alone.
Per her bio on the app, she calls herself the “[Original] Insta golf girl.”
She played division one college golf in the United States and was a two-time All-Mountain West selection.
She’s also played in events as a professional on the Ladies European Tour.
On Sunday, she promoted her upcoming match against major champion John Daly, which she’d first announced back in January.
Daly, 57, won both the 1991 PGA Championship and 1995 US Open during his career on the PGA Tour. He now spends the majority of his time playing on the PGA Tour Champions circuit.

Daly was originally listed in the field for this past week’s PGA Championship, but withdrew a few days prior due to injury.
LIV Golf’s Brooks Koepka went on to win the tournament by two strokes over the PGA Tour’s Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler.
Spiranac and Daly will face off in a charity match on 5 June 2023 at 10:30 a.m. local time at the Geneva National Resort and Club.
The pair will be playing on the Gary Player Course in what’s being called the “Beauty vs. the Beast Celebrity Charity Match.”
One-hundred percent of the ticket profits will go to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and Heart of a Lion, two charities supporting veterans, according to the announcement.
The celebrity match also has an online auction.
