On July 31, Angelina Jolie and her daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt were spotted at a college event in Los Angeles, where they were seen dancing and having a blast with HBCU families. A video of the two dancing the Electric Slide with Morehouse and Spelman alumni was shared on TikTok by Watch The Yard.
The actress looked visibly happy as she hugged her daughter while dancing. In addition to sharing the video, Angelina also posted on Instagram announcing that Zahara will be attending Spelman College, a private HBCU in Atlanta, Georgia, this fall. She expressed her pride in having a family member attend such a special place and congratulated all new students. Angelina shares six children, including Zahara, with her ex-husband Brad Pitt.
As Zahara embarks on a new journey in her life, she remains deeply connected to her family, particularly her sister Shiloh. According to an insider who spoke with Life Style, Zahara has been a big influence on Shiloh’s love for music, dance, acting, and fashion. Although Zahara is known as the family’s fashion icon, she still enjoys borrowing clothes from her mother, and Angelina is more than happy to oblige. In addition to their shared fashion sense, both Zahara and Angelina are pᴀssionate about humanitarian causes. In fact, the mother-daughter duo attended an important event in Washington, D.C. this past February to advocate for the renewal of the Violence Against Women Act.
Angelina Jolie’s journey has been truly inspiring, as she shifted her focus from acting to being a devoted mother. She recently showed her appreciation for being a part of the advocates and legislators who introduced the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act in the Senate. Angelina even brought her daughter Zahara along with her for the press conference, and the little one helped soothe her nerves. Watching Angelina take on various roles throughout her life has been amazing.
