Come 2024, it’s none other than the LPGA Tour Pro and current world No. 1 on the Rolex Rankings, Nelly Korda, who managed to attend the same, and that too in spectacular fashion. That’s not all. It appears Paige Spiranac can’t seem to get enough of the 25-year-old

The golfing diva shared a picture of the 2-time major champ in her exquisite dress while attending the fundraising event on her X handle recently. Along with the snap, Spiranac also shared a caption dishing out praises for Korda: “Love seeing Nelly at the Met Gala! She looks amazing.”

Being an event for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Insтιтute, the Met Gala takes place on the first Monday of every May in Upper East Manhattan. Korda attended the event for the first time in her life as a guest of Casey Wᴀsserman and was, in turn, dressed by Oscar de la Renta in a beautiful ankle-length dress with floral embellishments. She complimented the same with silver jewelry, which can be dubbed elegant, along with a simple heel. It seems the 13-time LPGA Tour champ was successful in following this year’s theme, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”

With 5 victories in her bag, the 25-year-old will be hoping to continue her good form and rake in yet another one at the upcoming tournament, the Cognizant Founders Cup in Clifton, N.J. If she manages to do so, Korda can further increase her lead on the Rolex rankings, where she is currently No. 1 with a total point tally of 462.70, owing to her five straight wins, the last of which came at the 2024 Chevron Championship.

Meanwhile, many in the community couldn’t help but follow the 2022 Maxim Sєxiest Woman in complimenting the LPGA Tour Pro. They went ahead to swarm the post with comments just a couple of hours after Spiranac posted the pH๏τo along with the caption.

Despite having a bitter history with the LPGA Tour, Spiranac has never shied away from complimenting beauty when she sees one. With an average driving distance of 264.74 yards and an accuracy of 74.22%, Korda has managed to prove why she is one of the best in the sport of golf. Moreover, she also boasts a putting average of 29.57 and a scoring average of 69.22. With such stats, no wonder a fan went ahead to respond how she could still play golf in her spectacular dress, as they commented, “And she could still break par.” At the same time, another follower couldn’t believe the athlete’s recent accolades, especially the most recent one where she joined the likes of Nancy Lopez and Annika Sorenstam when she won five times consecutively on the women’s circuit: “Paige is she really this good at golf, is the field weak atm, or a combo of both? She appears to be amazing.”
