Golfer and social media sensation Paige Spiranac has eviscerated her critics after they claimed a recent video was faked.
‘Gut feel’: Scott’s new Masters plans
Paige Spiranac, the former professional golfer known for turning heads on social media, has hit back at her critics.
The 30-year-old golf instructor and social media personality defied the odds recently by hitting a hole-in-one and posted a video of the feat on X.

However, critics quickly jumped on the edited video and called it “fake”.
She hit back: “A bunch of comments calling my hole in one fake. It’s real and spectacular. But jokes aside anyone in the golf industry knows our careers would be over if we ever faked a hole in one video. No one would ever be dumb enough to risk that. We take pride in showing genuine reactions. The good and bad.”
Her comment was a cheeky nod to the Seinfeld episode The Implant featuring Teri Hatcher.
The episode centred on Jerry’s mistaken belief that his girlfriend has undergone breast enlargement and ended with Hatcher walking out while saying, “And, by the way, they’re real, and they’re spectacular!”

Spiranac has been open about her struggles against the golf establishment.
She dedicated her life to golf as a young girl after being encouraged to play by her father.
“I was homeschooled. I practised every single day, morning until night. It was my only goal. I was a highly ranked junior golfer and then at 18 I had to make the decision to go to college or turn pro,” she said.
She got a job as San Diego State’s ᴀssistant golf coach pursued a career as a pro — ending up as one of the top golfers in the Mountain West Conference. But then she blew up as a social media sensation.
She now has more than 3.9 million Instagram followers and 964,000 followers on X.
Despite her skills, she regularly faces the stinging criticism that she’s merely a pretty face.
That issue popped up again after her recent hole-in-one, which she achieved on her second attempt.
She directed the video towards “golf snobs” who say “she can’t play”.
And she again shut down the critics who said it was fake.
“No one would ever be dumb enough to risk that. We take pride in showing genuine reactions. The good and bad.”
