If fashion exists in cycles, then it should come as no surprise that Kylie Jenner is putting a new spin on the ultimate accessory that dominated the ’80s.
On Instagram, the Kylie Cosmetics founder shared news pH๏τos of herself dressed in head-to-toe Mugler. The sultry, all-black looked consisted of a body-hugging minidress from the brand featuring a ruched skirt, an illusion of exposed thong straps, and sheer paneling on the sleeves and across the back and abdomen. She paired it with square-toed heels and nearly knee-length footless socks, an unexpected adornment that acted as an updated version to its ’80s-era counterpart.
For jewelry, Jenner kept it simple in silver earrings by Canadian designer Jenny Bird.
The reality TV star previously opened up about adjusting to postpartum life after the birth of her second child, a son whom she shares with Travis Scott.
“It’s not easy mentally, physically, spiritually, it’s just crazy,” she wrote on her Instagram Story in March. “I didn’t want to just get back to life without saying that, because I think we can look on the Internet, and for other moms going through it right now, we can go on the Internet and it might look a lot easier for other people and, like, put the pressure on us, but it hasn’t been easy for me either, it’s been hard.”
In a later post to her Stories, she talked about her journey to regaining her physical strength.
“4 months postpartum,” she captioned a video of herself walking on a treadmill earlier this week. “I have been dealing w tons of back & knee pain this time so it slows down my workouts but i am on a mission to get strong again.”
