Her professional debut in the Dubai Ladies’ Masters didn’t exactly go to plan but there’s no doubt that Paige Spiranac is one of the H๏τtest names in ladies’ golf right now – in more ways than one.

The social media sensation took a lot of heat for accepting a sponsor’s invitation to the final LET event of the season, even more so when she missed the cut on 12-over-par after rounds of 77 and 79.

Three things about that, though. One, it’s not like she lobbied the LET or sponsors for an invite. Two, people make less of a fuss when, say, John Daly wastes yet another invite in the men’s game.

Three, she got people following the scores at an event that otherwise would likely have received little attention. In short, the social media sensation is alright in our book.
