Popular golf influencer Paige Spiranac knows what it takes to build an audience and the importance of aligning oneself with brands that will represent influencers and college athletes in the best ways possible.
So when she sat down with Sports Illustrated’s Robin Lundberg on our set at the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday it was a perfect chance to pick her brain about how college athletes should find the best NIL deals for them.
“You have to find the right brands that understand your own personal brand,” Spiranac said. “I think sometimes companies when they work with influencers they want their platform, yet they want to control everything that they do, say and post and then it doesn’t work because their followers can see right through their act.”
She also had some thoughts for companies to make these business relationships work more naturally for both sides.
“My advice to companies wanting to work with influencers is find someone that aligns perfectly with your brand and then it’s really fun because you can be creative and you can create all these really exciting new ads.”
