Scarlett Johansson rocked two trends in one when she walked the red carpet for the premiere of Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City at the Cannes Film Festival on May 23rd. The 38-year-old actress not only wowed fans with the ever-popular Barbiecore trend, but she is also the latest A-lister to prove that the exposed bra illusion is also having a serious moment!
The Black Widow star has been hitting headlines for her personal life as well as her professional life these days, as she and husband Colin Jost have been plagued with break-up rumors for quite a few months now. However, ScarJo’s personal life was the last thing on everyone’s minds, as her stunning red carpet ensemble was the one and only thing the internet could talk about!

The Avengers: Endgame actress wore a custom Prada column dress for the premiere, which came in a feminine pink color that instantly gives us Barbie vibes. However, it wasn’t all pink, as it also featured what can only be described as a faux white bra top underneath. To the untrained eye, the outfit looks like it consists of a strapless maxi dress worn on top of a white bead-encrusted bra (or white ʙικιɴι!) but in actual fact, it’s an all-in-one piece. So clever! And we bet the straps make it even easier and more comfortable to wear, compared to a traditional strapless dress, so you get comfort as well as Sєxiness all rolled into one!
Scarlett exuded old Hollywood glamour with the rest of her look – we’re also getting Marilyn Monroe from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes vibes from the dress, and we bet we aren’t the only ones who think this. She wore her hair in a slicked-back, one-length lob which expertly exposed her dazzling earrings. As the new face of David Yurman, Scarlett wore a stunning pair of Yurman’s Liberty high jewelry earrings which WhoWoreWhatJewels [dot] com said were “inspired by Lady Liberty’s seven-pointed crown, representing the world’s oceans and continents and her message of inclusiveness and freedom.” Wow! She finished off with a lipstick in a gorgeous bright shade of red.
Although Scarlett is one of those A-listers who doesn’t have an Instagram account, her fans took to other accounts to express their thoughts on her look. Spoiler alert: they loved it!
